Hi! Welcome here, and elsewhere, and on the way in between! To me, travelling is much more about moving and about the journey, than about a precise destination. It’s about all those things that happen along the way, some completely unexpected, some challenging, some more exciting, some less so, but in any case, all of them changing you and your perspective on the world in some way.
I hope this travel site conveys that idea and I hope it inspires you to start your own journey, whether near or far, whether inside or outside of your comfort zone, whether for a few days or for a few years.
A part of this site is my travel blog, which I update regularly while I’m on the road, or in the air, or on the water – well, as long as I have internet access anyway. Currently I’m travelling for 6 months through Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, so head over to the blog if you’d like to follow along.
Another part of this site contains overviews of some of my past and present trips. I included there tips for traveling around those areas, but I don’t want to call them “travel guides” – I can’t claim to be an expert in any of them. Plus, they are of course based on my own experiences and preferences, so they are not really objective – but they are in any case meant to be inspiring, helpful and fun.
